When I was a teenager, I would always fantasize about my dream wedding and how it would be. From the guests, the dress, my wedding party and even the church..for me it was just perfect, grand and magical. I would imagine myself looking like a pretty princess in my massive ballgown with the longest train ever and my wedding party would be looking fabulous as they compliment me and the hubs. Ugghhhh..lets all bring it back to reality shall we, as that kind of a wedding is the dream of millionaires and that my friend can be a massive undertaking. But we can all dream, can’t we? Yes, we most definitely – so speaking of weddings here’s a peak at some gorgeous wedding gowns that are the dreams of most brides of today. Fair warning though..this is not your moms wedding dress of the 60’s or 70, these dresses are made for those brides that can splurge on the dress and not even bat an eye. Take a look and see for yourself below and hope you have the wedding of a lifetime and find the dress of your dreams!

Maggie Sottero: (Bronwyn) This dress is amazing. Made with fluid lace and a flowy train, its just a simple dress made with elegance and the ribbon gives it just the touch of sophistication!

Jean Ralph Thurin

This dress designed by Jean Ralph Thurin is unbelievably sexy. The fluid fabric just hugs the curves and the cape just give this dress that extra WOW factor that it needs. Check out the top of the dress, the bodice gives this dress a certain look of fabulousness…Amazing!

Not too keen on the form fitting dresses, heres one that you may have to take a second look at. Designer Hailey Paige was definitely showing off when she designed this masterpiece! The touch of alabaster tulle gives this dress that desired hint of classiness it deserves. Brides that purchase this dress will feel like a queen for the day. Stunning!

EveOfMilady (Amalia Carrara Collection)

If you’re not familiar with Eve Of Milady, she is synonymous for making the most striking wedding gowns. I love to follow her designs (Instagram) because they are made for fantasy weddings that make a bride look stunning. She pays lots of attention to detail and it sets her designs apart from all others. This design above is from the Amalia Carrara Collection and it features a flare silhouette, sweep train, hand beading and a strapless fit. Seriously I would just buy this one to display it on a mannequin in my house – I know it sounds silly but Eve of Milady screams sexiness and attention to the most minute details with every design. What do you think?

Eve Of Milady (Amalia Carrara Collection)

For those brides that like to make an impressive entrance here’s another Eve of Milady (Amalia Carrara Collection) gown made of silk satin, silver and gold embroidery, and features a strapless dress. Look at all the detail on this one…God, how amazing it is!

This one is made my the amazing Maggie Sottero and look at all that loveliness on that model. Wow, I love it! This one is called Serencia and its from her platinum collection. Featuring glamorous tulle and opal organza, it screams romance at you from every angle. The crystal bodice will hug your curves and accentuate that layered skirt. The illusion back will give you just the touch of sexy sophistication needed. This dress is super romantic and I love every inch of it!

This Maggie Sottero (Pierce) wedding dress is for those ladies that love a more subtle sexiness while capturing an audiences attention while walking down the aisle. Its a classic lace sheath bodice with demure elusion lace. That grosgrain belt with Swarovski crystal just pulls the whole look together.

Paloma Blanca

Designer Paloma Blanca brings you this simple design for those brides that aren’t all about the bling and extravagant designs. I chose to feature the top part of this dress because its so simple and I love it when a dress has that small wow factor. In this case its that beaded insert that drew me in. Awesome, love it!

If you love lace then this is the dress for you. Designed by Romona Keveza – this dress looks like its made for the European bride. I guess its the endless lace and the veil that give me that impression. I’m not a fan of this much lace but for those that are I hope that this one somewhat appeals to you.

This Maggie Sottero (Melanie) dress is so feminine and chic – more lace and a peekaboo back for those ladies that love a fit and flare design.

Check out the front of this beauty!

Here we have a Maggie Sottero and Midgley dress…I think I don’t need to say anything on this one only that its beautiful and I so love it!

I’m all about color so this dress by Romona Keveza would be the one I would wear to my own wedding LOL…its so different and beautiful!

Call me weird but I’m in love with this design also! Imagine making a striking entrance with this amazing museum worthy piece on …I’m sold on this one!

So as you can see wedding dress shopping is all about the details. What kind of details are you looking for in a dress? Lace, satin, ballgown, form fitting, flared bottom, simple but elegant? Today on designers spotlight I would love to feature NYC based designer Katie Ermilio. If you haven’t heard of her – pay close attention – class is in session! This amazing young lady is the granddaughter of Grace Kelly’s personal clothier and you can tell that some of that talent is evident in her designs – how awesome is that! Ugh…I am so jealous but in a giddy way, LOL. Even though she is talented and amazing her accomplishments as a fashion designer are not all due to her family member rubbing elbows with the monarchy. She also worked beside her father in his bespoke menswear shop at a young age and its truly evident in her amazing designs with soft draping and impeccable tailoring. She has also achieved quite a bit on her own, go Katie! In 2013, Forbes named her one of the magazines 30 under 30 of art and design. She has also been featured in several publications like Elle and Vanity Fair just to name a few of her accomplishments. A few celebrities that have worn her designs are Katie Perry, Taylor Swift, and Michelle Williams.

Check out the pics below of her beautifully tailored 2015 ready to wear designs…I love her designs but let me know what you think anyway?

I love this seafoam color and those shoes are amazing!

What a beautiful skirt, so long and flowy my favorite!

Love the design and fabric on this dress!

Beautiful Silhouette – fave number 3!

Theres no better way to represent summer in all its glory…Chic indeed!

Such a unique dress, I love it!

After seeing all of her amazing designs I am truly putting Katie Ermilio on my Style Watch list. She really understands that women want to be classy, sexy, and well put together. Her tailoring is impeccable and flawless but most of all, her designs just want to make you want to shop and invest in at least one piece (if you can afford) in her collection. I myself need to have at least a few pieces in my collection and I really don’t care if I break the bank doing it. To me its well worth it – I love fashion and frankly fashion loves me too. Happy Shopping my friends…till the next post!

Cygnus front

Anne Bowen (Autumn/Winter 2014)

If you’re having a summer wedding I really envy you. I love all things bridal and I think that summer weddings are magical and so amazingly beautiful! The satin, tulle, lace and organza make a statement of elegance, sophistication and style.

To me the best part of planning a wedding is searching for the bridal dress. Hunting for the perfect dress is exciting and yes it will make you anxious but think of the perks. You will get pampered, poked, and put on a pedestal all in the name of saying, “Yes to that dress!” Who knows maybe you will even get “Jacked up” just so that you can visualize yourself beautifully strolling down the middle of all the church pews as all your guests gawk and stare at how amazing you look. So whats not to love about summer? I love to envision it as bridal season, the perfect occasion to plan the most amazing wedding and have fun at it too.

If you haven’t found that dress yet, heres a little inspiration to get your mind on the right track! Which one is your favorite, let me know in a comment below — I love comments and interacting with my readers!

Monique Lhuillier (Spring/Summer 2015)

Hope that this inspired you as much as it inspired me to post it. All of these gowns are amazing in white as they are in pink or blue. Just remember its your wedding so pick a style/color that you would love to see yourself in and ditch the opinions of those that you may think need to be with you dress shopping. Less is more and the only opinion that matters is your own. Have fun and enjoy!!

So yes they did get married and no it wasn’t at Versaille like I predicted. But they did tie the knot at my other stated location: Forte Di Belvedere. From what I’m hearing the whole clan was there except for Rob their brother who didn’t want to be seen in his current state of weigh gain. Thats a shame that we should be ashamed of weight gain but I understand that being a celebrity can be really stressful. I think I just had an epiphany for the next post LOL.

So back to the happy couple, here they are in the pick above just beaming with happiness in front of that wall of flowers. They both wore Givenchy Aterlier. Kim’s dress had a nearly 10 foot long train with an open back showing off her ASSential figure. (You men and aspiring to look like Kim ladies know what that all about, Yes, Yes!

Here’s the happy couple after the ceremony, Kim looks stunning and Kanye finally has a smile on his face…Yess!

Here’s her final dress fitting in Paris at Givenchy Atelier with Designer Riccardo Tisci in the sidelines – check out that train…so gorgeous, what do you think?

This is an amazing beautiful photo of the couple. Wish you both the best in your future Mr and Mrs West!

After the ceremony, Kim slipped out of her dress to slip into a Balmain dress and Kanye serenaded her with a speech that only Mr North could deliver. Singer John Legend who attended the wedding, also sang the song “All of Me” for the newlyweds first dance.

Aww this seems like the wedding of the year to me. Oh and they also had a 7 tiered wedding cake! Sorry no pics floating around of that deliciousness yet LOL.

The happy couple are now enjoying a romantic honeymoon in Cork, Ireland. I hope they enjoy every minute of it.

This is really cute, I like the way this pic came out also.

Whats next for these two, we will have to stay tuned and keep up with the happy couple in order to stay informed!
